“A Royal Guest has come to room here”

The Gospel message will substitute faith for frustration and hope for hopelessness. It will take you by the hand and guide you in the journey God has marked out for you through the "valley of the shadow of death" and bring meaning and power to your existence.
This discussion is devoted to the cost and payment made at the cross in purchase of the New Covenant. It is the discovery of the blessings to be derived from the gospel of Christ and made real by the indwelling Spirit, an oasis of life for the soul who must wander through the desert with a desperate need for refreshment.
There is something tremendous about a discussion that can cleanse, purify and enlighten lives in a   divine revelation and secret for a power-packed life. It is God’s chariot to take us from the valley to the peak where I can breathe the pure air of Heaven and look down upon the mundane and meaningless human existence; yet making that existence valuable and exiting.
In this new existence I have found a friend, a companion, a roommate living in the same abode with me, sharing all the wonders of life with me. He has taken up residence in my living room taking down the “vacancy sign” and taken up residence with my spirit. Now I am never alone or lonely, I am never forsaken and established in the knowledge that the heavenly Spirit shares life with me.. Just what does it mean to roommate with a Royal Guest?
Living alone was a life of fear and uncertainty, I had many roommates (relationships) and I lived in fear that they would find out my true self and see all my failures and past sins. Guilt I guess was the greatest thing troubling me. I kept a vacancy sign yet my fear was who will be my next renter?
No other thought brings a greater sense of despair than that of fear.
  To abide with the Spirit is to be conscious of the will and direction of God. "For to (live alone) be carnally minded is despair; but to (live with a Royal Guest) be spiritually minded is life and peace" (Romans 8:6; KJV);
Our roommate (The Spirit) changes all that. He provides a happy yesterday, he never reminds us of past sins. This causes us to live a glorious today in the experience of God's joyful love, and a wonderful anticipation of tomorrow in a state of blessedness. The spiritual mind (the mind of the Spirit) sets us free and brings life and peace.
Anyone who has the white knuckle syndrome trying to overcome on their own efforts knows the agony of failure as the flesh screams out for gratification. The condition is best described in Ro7:18;  "To will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not" (KJV).
God made us, set His love on us, knows more about our nature than we do He has not left us to grapple alone with this problem. At the CROSS Jesus paid the full obligation we owe to the flesh. The debt of sin was canceled by His blood.
"Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh" (RO 8:12).
You do not owe sinful flesh one thing, I am free from every debt it once held against me.
Sin cannot have legal claim upon my life, I have been bought with a price and so I no longer belong to the old nature.
But you will live, if by the help of (your roommate) God's Spirit you say "No" to your desires. (v. 13).The word desire is the word “lust/ie: Eros”
The power of the indwelling (of a royal roommate) Spirit of God enables us to put to death the evil passions and corrupt desires.--"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." The word "for" joins the two sentences and demonstrates that we have been made over comers of the passions and desires.
This we have done through a relationship with the Spirit who while dwelling (living in our house) within has becomes the energizing power enabling us to become more like our Father.
He has taken down the VACANCY Sign and made His abode in My spirit.. I am the temple of God.
In my new relationship with this new roommate, I begin to listen to him and learn HIS leading in my life I become more like him and He calls me SON.
Son now has a higher sphere, a greater meaning. It is not an Eros love as a flesh human love it extends far beyond the conditional love we have received:
"Love your enemies, and pray for them which persecute you; that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 5:44; KJV).
This love is the essential of the divine-human relationship, the love of the Spirit. Not an outgrowth of human effort and temperament. It is shed abroad in our (spirit) hearts by the (roommate) Holy Spirit through relationship. The sons of God are those who are led, directed, motivated by the Spirit of God.
God's Spirit doesn't make us slaves who are afraid of him. Instead, we become his children and call him our Father.  God's Spirit makes us sure that we are his children. His Spirit lets us know that together with Christ we will be given what God has promised. We will also share in the glory of Christ, because we have suffered with him. Romans 8:15-17  THE King James says in verse 15  “but you received a Spirit  of adoption by which we cry, Abba! Father!
"Abba, Father."  NOW we are able, through the (our roommate) Spirit, to recognize our real relationship to Father.  Abba is a word, and   expression of a little child, saying "Da-da" or "Pa-pa" and we transliterate it as "Daddy" and "Papa" to indicate that these are the simple, unaffected, and spontaneous expressions of love. We as adult children continue to call him “DAD” which indicates a loving relationship and TRUST.   The promise of Jesus that He would not leave us orphans has come true. Two witnesses within proclaim this fact: the spirit of man and the Spirit of God.
"What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!" But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit….For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God
Now there remains: 1Cor 2.8-10
"A joyous anticipation of the future."
The vacancy sign has been discarded and a permanent roommate has taken abode in my living room and has totally re-arranged the furniture and my life.
Now the God of all grace, the One having called you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, you having suffered a little, Himself will perfect, confirm, strengthen, establish you. 1Pe 5:10
For I consider that the sufferings of the time now are not worthy to be compared to the coming glory to be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly awaits the revelation of the glory of the sons of God. Rom 8:19
NO VACANCVY HERE is the neon light flashing across the entire created universe……
This is the essence of the Christian life; Expectancy gives way to experience; anticipation becomes enjoyment. Tears and trials yesterday; smiles and splendor -----NOW
